We are six friends who shared a common experience at Bilkent University: The challenges of transportation.

Like many other students, we resided in different districts of Ankara and relied on taxis as our primary mode of transportation, especially when we were together. It didn’t take long for us to realize the costs were adding up quickly, and we weren’t the only ones facing this issue. As we brainstormed potential solutions, we asked ourselves, “Why not develop an app that connects students who want to share taxi rides, reducing costs and fostering a sense of community?” That’s how the idea for Limon was born.
